Shipping & Returns

STANDARD LOCAL DELIVERY SERVICE

Most orders ship from The Advantage Plumbing Group central warehouse via the company delivery truck. Orders are delivered Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. by appointment scheduled at least 48 hours in advance. We provide a 2- to 4-hour delivery window and the delivery manager will contact you approximately 30 minutes prior to delivery. Saturday and evening delivery exceptions are available upon request. We offer a messenger service for same day delivery. The deadline for messenger service is 1 p.m. Select products, such as bathtubs and furniture, have been thoroughly inspected prior to delivery. These products will be visually inspected by the delivery manager and client, requiring client or authorized agent signature confirming these products were delivered in excellent condition. All other products should be inspected by the recipient within 48 hours to report order shortages or concealed damages promptly. NOTE: Delivery will not be made unless someone authorized is present to accept and sign for it.

  • Door-to-Door Delivery Option
    Products designated for this delivery service will be delivered to the point closest to your entrance door that is accessible by our truck.
  • White Glove Delivery Option
    Products designated for this delivery service will be delivered inside your residence and placed in the location of your choice; box and packing removal as requested. Please call 847-965-4444 for pricing.

High-rise deliveries will incur an additional fee. Elevators must be reserved or made available for an adequate amount of time to avoid rescheduling. Certain large and heavy products are excluded from our White Glove delivery service. Additional delivery charges also may apply to some large and heavy products. Client will be required to provide up to 4 able persons onsite to receive extra heavy or awkward products.

UPS AND LTL

We ship most packages and envelopes via UPS. Flat rate fees for small and large packages may apply. Expedited rush delivery services are available for your most urgent shipments, such as next day delivery. The deadline for UPS is 1 p.m. Tracking information will be provided upon request. We ship out-of-state orders that weigh more than 150lbs via LTL. Flat rate fees per pallet will apply based on geographic location. LTL shipment form must be filled out by client prior to delivery. Tracking information will be provided upon request.

ACCEPTING DELIVERED ORDERS VIA UPS, MESSENGER AND LTL

While it is rare, damage can happen in transit. Please exercise the following precautions to ensure that any liability for damage or breakage remains with the responsible party, the carrier:

  • Open the shipment IMMEDIATELY IN THE DRIVER'S PRESENCE before signing the delivery receipt.
  • NOTE ANY DAMAGE to the packaging or product on the delivery receipt.
  • Call us immediately if any suspected damage exists.

All LTL shipments should arrive strapped on a pallet, shrink wrapped, with a "No Stack" cone on top. Contact us immediately if the unit arrives without a pallet or if the "No Stack" cone is dislodged, crumpled or missing, or if the shrink wrap is missing or torn. If the driver does not allow you to inspect at the time of delivery, please note "subject to inspection for internal damage" on the delivery receipt. Promptly inspect the merchandise and notify us of any damages within 24 hours. Any damage not reported within 24 hours of receipt will be considered non-warranted and is subject to repair/replacement charges. If the products will be stored after the delivery, make certain the products remain on the pallet and follow the arrows on packages which side should be up.

Returns & Exchanges

Returns and exchanges will be accepted if authorized by Advantage Kitchen & Bath Gallery (AKBG) within 365 days. Freight and repackaging costs will be charged on all standard items returned in original condition. Special and custom products are not returnable for credit. This returned goods policy does not apply to: products manufactured by vendors not listed on our preferred vendor list; special- and custom-order products; products not returned in original condition; products returned beyond 365 days after the invoice date; catastrophic returns (50% of an order and/or $10,000 of merchandise); and final-sale items.
